Firstly we at Tiltonbury HQ apologise for the what can only be described as shamefully late update on the Festival. We are truly sorry, and have had our wrists slapped.
Secondly – Wow!
Thirdly – Thanks to everyone who braved the rain to attend what we can only describe as our best Tiltonbury yet! It was an amazing event and I promise that more updates, videos & photos will be coming shortly!
If you have any reviews / comments / feedback on the event then we would love to hear from you! Likewise if you have any photos you would like to share! Please email michelle@tiltonbury.co.uk
In the meantime here are a few photos I found on my phone!

Well actually as I write this, it’s neither raining, or pouring! The sun is actually shining! (No fair)
However, looking at the weather forcast for Saturday (as accurate as that ever gets!), it does seem that it may be damp, bordering on wet!

BUT
We will not be letting that stop us! Besides a great excuse to wear those really cool patterned wellies I got last year! And what is a festival without the tiniest risk of trench foot?
Anyway – fear not!
We have many, many contingency plans in operation, some very practical, others a tad whimsical. For example practical has indoor alternatives, whimsical is doing a sort of anti rain dance at midnight!
Friday shall be spent erecting tents, marquees and gazebo’s galore!
Hope to still see you there!
M x
PS – I might award a prize to the wackiest wellies that I see!

As you are aware, I am updating some bio’s and I think this one from Steve Burton wins the award for the mushiest, sickening, I love me post! What do you think?
M
Steve Burton is a stunningly good musician, playing a huge range of instruments to the very highest level. From the intelligence of his picked guitar, through his soaring accordion tunes to his foot-stomping banjo solos, this man has to be heard to be believed!
Steve has elevated many bands from the humdrum to the exceptionally brilliant by his mere presence over the last three decades throughout Leicestershire. It would be unfair to pin this virtuoso down to a single genre as he is undoubtedly one of the most talented players the county has ever produced, whatever and however he chooses to play, delighting fans ranging from heavy metal to folk, jazz to classical.
It doesn’t hurt that he is also a hunk, often compared to Steve McQueen and Clint Eastwood, although in fairness he is better looking than both combined. It is only his unreported dedication to his charitable works saving orphans, kittens and baby rabbits, and his behind-the-scenes work at the United Nations (and his overwhelming modesty) that has prevented this demi-god becoming the household name that he so deserves to be.
A couple of women sing with him.

The day is approaching! Here at Tilton HQ we have been to ‘scope’ out the area, to check that no aliens have landed and taken up the space! That would make things a tad awkward!
Below are some photo’s of the ‘before’… and as for the ‘after’ – come along on the 16th and find out for yourself!
Of course it goes without saying that if anyone wants to partake in Tilton’s own version of ‘Changing Fields’ or ‘Sell my Field’ then let us know! It might even be fun!
